Off Season Kayaking 
Dove Lake

Winter sees some of the best conditions for kayaking on Dove Lake. Snow on the mountain and a glassy lake can be magical. (It can also be snowing sideways and not at all ideal for kayaking, see below)

This Off Season (May to November 2024) we are running tours in our kayaks on Dove Lake when the conditions permit. It's hard to know more than a week ahead if conditions will be suitable, so instead of taking bookings you can register your interest and we'll let you know if we can get a tour out.

If you like the idea of getting out for a float with us in our hand-built kayaks this winter, please send an email to info@cradlecanyons.com with 'Off Season Kayaking' in the subject field. 

Let us know in your email which dates you will be available for a tour on the mountain and your mobile number and we'll let you know close to the date if we have a tour we can get you on.

The tour includes a hot drink and snacks to keep your energy up. BYO winter woollies!
